I like sometimes to paint a bottles, I mean not only paintings of bottles but also to put some images directly to the bottles. So this my entry abt one bottle-painting I created last year, probably exactly one year ago ( Nov. 2007 ). This bottle i made in surrealistic style, and first I was going to make smth close to my painting “Tree of Life” or “Life” but then I just wanted to use more elements of Dali and decided to dedicate this bottle-painting to him.
I hope to find some my photos of another my bottles and also download them.
Your bottles are beautiful! What kind of paint do you use to paint onto the bottles to get such a beautiful effect? The paint looks matte … does it strip by any chance? Dali is one of my favourite artists. Well done for reflecting his work so delicately.
This is oil paint over glass. Without finishing. But there was another one which were covered with matte finishing. Glad you liked it. Sorry for delay.
