Once there was an idea to paint cherry, well it didn’t go too well. The inspiration of this idea has passed away, but unfinished painting was kept as unnecessary stuff.

This week I received a pacage with photos & videos from one art project where I participated.

Name of this event is “Twenty Four Hours.” And it was occurred on September (Sep. 9 – 17) at The Arts University College at Bournemouth; England, United Kingdom.

“…”Twenty four hours” is an interactive installation exploring themes such as personal communication, globalization and social interfacing in the ‘networking’ age….” Official Site.

There were involved artists from different parts of the world. And during the event they were communicating with audience though the computers by Skype. As I understood there were 23 computers on the wall which means 23 different time zones + 24th zone is a location of the exhibition.

Besides video chat window each artist also could see a streaming video from gallery by ustream channel of this event HERE THE LINK (there are some recorded videos).

For participation in this event I was invited by Philip Lunn, creator of this project.

It was a great and amazing experience of using communication for exhibition; connecting different people in one time in one place and being exhibited without even leaving a home or a room lol.

Today I decided to publish a time line of the recently created painting – Lines of Me. Snowflake. This work is a 5th work in this serie. And I was painted it by photo. I had an inspiration of one strange makeup, which I decided to have on this self-portrait.

It took 3 days to get this work done. I am pretty glad with what I got. However I think it could be better, but I always have these thoughts on the background of my consciousness.

I listening to something when I am painting music/movies, this time it was series – Battle Star Galactica. I’ve watched it already once, but I like to watch movie twice, at second time I usually notice some additional details.
